Rachael M. Dockery is the General Counsel  & Chief Compliance Officer at Missouri State University, where she currently holds the Missouri State University Leadership Chair. Prior to assuming that role, she served as Assistant General Counsel at CoxHealth, and was a shareholder at the Strong-Garner-Bauer law firm in Springfield, Missouri.

Dockery received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Arkansas in 2003, graduating summa cum laude. She received her B.A. in English, graduating from the University of Arkansas with high honors in 1999.

In 2013, Dockery received a Women’s Justice Award from Missouri Lawyers Weekly, and she was honored as a Missouri Lawyers Up and Coming Lawyer in 2012. She also received the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association’s President Award in 2011.

Julia Edwards Holmes

Julia Edward Holmes

Julia Edwards Holmes is a long-time advocate for persons with disabilities in Southwest Missouri.  She has worked in the field of private rehabilitation and public education.  Holmes was part of the first group of employees who were considered “Pioneers” for Ozarks Technical Community College.  At OTC she developed the Disability Support Services department and managed that department and the Title IX Team until her retirement in 2018.  Holmes then joined the staff of the Office of General Counselor at Missouri State where she works as a Deputy Compliance Officer.  She was a long time member of Missouri AHEAD serving on the executive board as well as president for the organization.
